This day not only offers a chance to enjoy delicious food and a special nature experience, but above all to reflect on the incredible work of Edwin Wiek, the founder of WFFT. Thanks to his tireless efforts, countless wild animals have been given a new chance, from elephants and monkeys to bears and tigers. His fight against animal suffering and illegal trade has had a huge impact in Thailand and far beyond.

We feel privileged that Edwin and his team are so passionate about animal protection – and this tour gives us a unique insight into their work.

Travel by your own transportation: make sure you are at Stripes restaurant at 10:00 am (see location below).

Register; let us know where you will be picked up: Provide your contact details (preferably by phone with WhatsApp) and depending on the number of people participants we go with a simple 'songteaw' (like you see the children going to school every day on the back of a small truck with a roof).

On Saturday 22 February, the Chom Dong Concert Series will present a special performance of Thai classical music, songs and dances. This concert is extra special as we celebrate the centenary of the coronation of King Rama VII. A highlight will be seeing and hearing for the first time in 100 years a special ensemble of unique instruments, commissioned by King Rama VII.

4:30pm: Gates open

Arrival of guests and tea with traditional Thai savoury and sweet delicacies

6:00 PM: Guests are seated

6:15 PM: Start of the performance

7:30pm: Dinner with wood-fired pizza and Thai dishes.

The ticket price of 2,000 baht includes tea and dinner. The musicians will donate part of the proceeds to provide string instruments for underprivileged schools in rural areas.
