"Team 2" (women's team) had already withdrawn earlier.
Still a shame...
At the special request (today) of the "former Team 2", we are posting their following message:
TEAM 2 WITHDRAWS.
This naturally requires some explanation.
- When it was announced in January that no General Meeting would be convened and it was unclear how to proceed with the NVTHC
we put our heads together to see how we could get things moving, because we considered it important and still do.
that there is a monthly meeting place for the Dutch community within the Hua Hin region.
- Due to time pressure, that initiative quickly developed into the formation of TEAM 2, with board ambitions, but always with the interests of the Association and all members in mind.
- On February 26 last, during the monthly meeting at Chef Cha, a solution was offered after all, with which the members present could agree; see point 4.
- On March 26, 2026, the old board will finally hold an Annual General Meeting, and new board members can be elected, for which anyone can register.
- For us, this provides sufficient assurance of a fair course of events, which is why we, as TEAM 2, have decided to no longer have a task.
We sincerely hope that the upcoming General Meeting will be a pleasant gathering and wish the newly elected board much energy and wisdom.
