Management
We have been searching for new board members with confidence and dedication over the past period. Despite a lengthy search and several interviews, we were unfortunately unable to find candidates who, in our opinion, sufficiently matched the previously published profile. Interest from members, particularly newer and younger members, remained limited.
No AGM
In recent years, the AGM has become increasingly formal. When elections did take place, there was essentially nothing to choose from due to a lack of candidates. This diminished the value of such a meeting.
In order to use energy as constructively as possible and to avoid unnecessary polarization, the current management team has therefore decided not to organize a physical AGM this year.
Financial transparency
Transparency towards members naturally remains a key principle. The 2025 annual financial report is therefore available via the link below. In that year, a positive result of THB 24,000 was achieved, increasing equity to THB 237,000. The club thus has a healthy and stable financial base (the current management team has not declared any personal expenses).
The audit committee approved the annual report and recommended capping any future matching donation commitments (so-called doublers for charities) to keep the NVT club's financial risk manageable.
What now?
Several candidates have come forward who are willing to join a new management team, namely (in alphabetical order):
- Hans Bos
- Do van Drunen
- Theo van der Heijde
- Eric Hulst
Provided they are members of NVT Hua Hin, they could take over the board if no other candidates emerge. We await their initiative with interest.
