On Thursday, October 30 we meet at Krua Chef Cha – as usual in the even months (and in the odd months at Pineapple Golf).

I, Richard Franssen, retired and 67 years young, would like to share my life story with you.

It all began for me on November 15, 2013, when my friend Elly, mother of our three children, Davy, Erwin, and Judith, decided to take her own life.

A personal journey ensues that continues to this day. I also discovered how deeply moving the topic of suicide is in everyday life. It also became a source of inspiration for me to work towards greater openness on this subject.

I'd love to tell you about this journey and the social activities I'm doing to raise awareness about suicide and break the taboo—together with others. I'd also love to talk to you about your experiences.

CABARET BY HOWARD KOMPROE on November 3 at ELDER BLOSSOM Hua Hin

Together with N/A Bangkok is it NVTHC Hua Hin-Cha-Am managed to get two top performances Howard Komproe to organize – in Bangkok and Hua Hin.

Howard was at the cradle of stand-up comedy in the Netherlands and has been filling theaters with his humor and energy for many seasons.
But being alone is also being alone... that's why he's coming up with a new project: the LUL stories – stories told by (un)known comedians, writers, opinion makers and TV personalities, all from a male perspective, as a humorous counterpart to the Vagina Monologues.

Howard is known for The Passion (2016, role of Pontius Pilate), his workshops and presentation work, and his book The limit of the joke. He also invented the popular one-liner show Padoem Patsss, and made the online series Tastings, in which he compares traditional dishes with their ready-made versions.

In addition, he stood with Caribbean Combo in AHOY, played in the successful show The Story of Travis(Theater Rotterdam) and recently in Robin Hood (Theater Sonnevanck). He can also be heard from Monday to Thursday at NPO Blend Radio.
