The Path of Howard Komproe: From Ballet Dream to Comedy Train
Howard Komproe''s career began with a hilarious detour. At the age of twelve, the future comedian, presenter and actor ended up on the ballet school, surrounded by flexible girls. However, due to a lack of dancing experience, he had to switch to the drama school.
He found his true calling when he was increasingly asked to perform stand-up comedian. Through Eric van Sauers, Howard came to the famous Comedytrain Rightly so, where he made a splash with his fresh, relaxed style. His boyish charm made him beloved.
Together with Najib Amhali and Murth Mossel, among others, he later founded FreshWagon on, a collective of young Comedytrain members. In addition to solo theater tours, Howard devised the controversial concept Bullshit stories, a counterpart to the Vagina Monologues, in which (un)known men share stories from a male perspective.
Howard is also known for his role as Pontius Pilate in The Passion (2016) and as the creator of the one-liner show Padoem Patsss. Nowadays he can be seen a lot online with his series Tastings, in which he compares dishes with their ready-made counterparts.
In addition, he remains active in the theatre, with recent roles in The Story of Travis and Robin Hood, and he can be heard weekly on the radio program NPO Blend.

This fantastic cabaret show takes place on Tuesday, November 4th at 4:30pm at Elder Blossom in Hua Hin.
Entrance fee: THB 500 pp.
Afterwards (around 6pm) a dinner will be organised (each person at their own expense) in restaurant "Esan Ban Suan"". If you would like to participate, please indicate this when making your reservation.
