"Meet and Greet" with the Dutch Ambassador on Thursday, October 9th

Put it in your calendar: on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 5 p.m. The time has come! The Dutch ambassador, Remco van Wijngaarden, is coming to Hua Hin for the annual meet and greet with the Dutch community. This is the perfect opportunity to meet the ambassador, ask questions, and, of course, enjoy catching up with other Dutch people living in Thailand.

Last year it was a great success and we're doing it again this year. The event will take place at the same beautiful location as last year, the Pineapple Valley Golf Club in Hua HinThis location received fantastic feedback last year about the atmosphere and excellent catering, and we're happy to build on that.

This is the program for the evening:

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: An inspiring Q&A session With Wijngaarden's ambassador. Ask all your questions and discuss topics that matter to you.

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Afterwards there will be a pleasant receptionEnjoy a delicious buffet provided by the Dutch Embassy.

Don't miss this unique opportunity! It's a great way to connect with the embassy and the Dutch community in and around Hua Hin.

Dutch Consulate Opening Soon in Hua Hin

By October 8th to 10th The Dutch Embassy in Hua Hin offers the option of applying for a Dutch passport or identity card and/or having your life certificate signed. To schedule an appointment, please send an email to ban-ca@minbuza.nl   Please write "Pop-up Hua Hin" in the subject line. Please include your full passport name, date of birth, and which consular service(s) you wish to use (passport and/or life certificate). You will then receive more information about your appointment. There is a maximum number of registrations for passport applications, so please make sure you register on time. (October 9 and 10 are already fully booked.)

Put a big red circle around Saturday, December 20, 2025 Mark your calendars for the most spectacular NVT event of the year. Preparations are in full swing, and we can confidently say the foundation has been laid for an unforgettable evening.

But where? The (new?) location has been secured, the plans are ready, but the exact spot remains shrouded in mystery for now. 

This year's theme is still under wraps. Imagine an evening full of surprises, an ambiance that will tantalize your senses, and a theme that will take you on an unforgettable journey. We'll be lifting the veil soon and revealing more details. Until then... let your imagination run wild.
