Reminder questionnaire NVT / Dutch Club
Update latest developments and activity calendar.
Dear (prospective) members,
We hope everyone is enjoying this peaceful holiday season!
Maybe in Thailand, at home in the Netherlands or in other places around the world.
We are preparing here for the return of our members and hopefully also for the arrival of many new members to our Association/Club.
We hope you will still find time for this message and the urgent request to complete the questionnaire and return it to us, the current board, if you have not already done so. However, please before September 1st!
Thanks, of course, to the modest 17 members who have already done so!
As you can imagine, this is only a small percentage of our total membership, which currently stands at around 140, and therefore not representative at all. There's no point in drawing conclusions at this point, so we're still hoping for a much larger response.
So below again the link to the questionnaire and explanation. Thanks in advance for your efforts.
Attached is some information about the latest newsletter.
I recently spoke personally with three committed and enthusiastic members. After reading this newsletter, they were left with the impression that the current board, consisting of Robert, Patrick, and Edwin, has thrown in the towel.
This is absolutely not the case! They will, of course, serve out their board term until January of next year and will also continue to organize the monthly meetings and other events until then.
If necessary, these three aforementioned members are also willing to take on an administrative role. The potential new structure of the Club/Association will, of course, also play a role in this.
If you would also like to nominate suitable candidates, we would be happy to hear from you and we can contact them.
That is why we attach great importance to the opinions and ideas of our members, of which we want to get a first impression through the questionnaire.
Update activities
Contacts have already been made in preparation for the traditional Christmas celebration. Details will follow in due course.
- There is also contact with our ambassador Remco van Wijnhoven, to meet each other again on October 9th at Pine Apple Valley Golf Club. Once again, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and make appointments for passport renewals, etc., just as was the case last year, and everyone enjoyed it. So mark this date in your calendars!
- A well-known Dutch comedian is scheduled to perform in the first week of November. Date and details to follow.
We also received complaints about the NVT website. This will be addressed shortly, as it is, of course, an important communication tool in addition to the Newsletter.
We hope this update and our request won't disrupt your vacation! We look forward to seeing you again soon. Thursday, September 25th!
Yours sincerely,
The coordinators of NVT Hua Hin
