Robert and Patrick have indicated that they will transfer their tasks within the board as of June 1st. Rini is prepared to take on a new role within the board (in a renewed model) and will prepare himself this summer to start the new season in September with full energy. For the success and progress of the club, active support from the members - both within the board and outside - is of crucial importance.
At the King's Day meeting at the Pineapple Valley Golf Club, it was already discussed how the board has thought about the current set-up and how the working methods and structure of the NVT can better meet the requirements of the present day.
That is why we would like to hear from you what you find important and what contribution you want to make yourself. In order to map this out properly, we will conduct a short survey among the members. For example, think of (co-)organizing activities or informative meetings. This does not have to be big — small initiatives are also welcome. The communication and administration of such activities can be taken care of by a central coordinator.
Some ideas have already been suggested, such as:
-A sailing trip
- Visit to the Bamboo School
- Sinterklaas celebration
- Visit to the shelter of Edwin Wiek
- Fitness/yoga activities at Elderblossom
- Music and dance evening
- Wine tasting
- Visit to Monsoon Valley
And much more...
We are very curious about your reactions. We hope for many positive ideas and especially for the names of members who want to actively commit themselves to the survival and further development of our club! |
